The Issue

I'm writing a story about Jack the Ripper
"ah yes Jack the RIPPER!!! Rawr."
It's for an assessment.
I never really knew what he was like or what he did.
All I did know was that he was never caught.
Then I found out how bad he was and why he was so "famous."
Jack the Ripper was a bad bad man.
He slit women's throats and gutted most of them
It was horrendous
I'm glad it was 200 years ago and he is surely dead.
"Even I think that's bad."

Anyways
I've figured out something if you care enogh for someone you have to be ready to lose it.
Maybe more than once.
Theres this person
Lets call them Bruce
"Is that my best friend?"
NO

Well I met Bruce 3 years ago
Bruce was the best looking kid out
He didn't know it.
But i did.
He was one of those people you can relate to very quickly
I fell for Bruce 3 years ago.
But I lost the fight for him

3 or less years later I found out the person who went out with Bruce for a year or so,
Hurt Bruce pretty bad
She wasn't be sure about her feelings and she cracked that shell
And then she changed her mind

So I thought I'd step in.
"Nosey bitch"
Help out a little
I knew what it's like to be hurt
We had an existing friendship so i thought I'd be good for him to talk to a familiar face
It was instant reconnection
I got to know Bruce better
We got closer
And closer
It was great

Then his ex came back.
She wanted him back even though she couldn't keep it in her pants
I was beginning to lose him.
I couldn't fight a against a tidal wave
I was only a small boat

Cracks appeared in my hull
I started to fail.
But I hold on
Hoping wishing one day Bruce will save me from my imminent death
To pull me from the painful and slow death

He says he doesn't know anymore
He's not sure of anything anymore.
But because of her he might die of loneliness before he will trust anyone ever again

Don't rush into love.
It will leave others heartbroken
Think it through
Are those feelings real?
So..

Exchange Students & True Blood

True Blood

It is a TV series in America and I'm
loving it

It has a few boob shots and all that

But.

I skip over them

And still love it

Definition:
exchange: substituting one thing for another
student: a person formally engaged in learning

I can't say that's I've liked exchange students.
"Wow that's nice"
Not the actually people but the concept.
I think they should stay forever
It's hard to say goodbye and I'll see you next holidays
But it's even harder to say goodbye when you may not see them again in months or even years

I met Jill Alcorn 2008
"She was a babe!"
I was asked to show her around as she was in my homeroom
It was funny thing how easy it was to talk to her
She was amazingly social
I had a whole year to get to know her better and that I did.
I learnt she's from Peace River and she plays volleyball at home
Canadians go to school like the Americans and have a long summer vacation
She parties like Aussies
And its snows in Canada
And it's yuck at sometimes of the year
But at other the grass is as green as green can be
She left on the last day of school.
Tears flooded from many eyes that day.
She was mean to be here forever to be one of us
But we knew it was inevitable, she would leave sometime soon.
I remember the last time I said goodbye.
I'd rather I didn't remember truthfully.
But it was a sad sad day..
I didn't like it at all.
But we still talk and keep in touch.
One day I will come and visit her
"Tears...."


This year, 2009 I met another exchange student.
Her name is Noora Andell
Straight away we were mates
She comes from Finland
And teaches us math's kids finish and also some of the words we shouldn't say
"Yes you use them on me but I don't get it"
She is one of a kind
A beautiful one of a kind
I help her understand our wordy maths questions and she teaches me how to speak Finnish
Properly that is
Noora is staying until the middle of next year
And then she too leaves.
It will be a time of sadness
But for her joy
She gets to see her parents again
And all the friends she misses
I hope to keep in touch with her
She makes maths worth it!


Ive come to realise maybe it isn't to bad that they leave.
It just keeps us strongly bonded.
Just over a Large distance

Best Friends

Okay well I wouldn't call then best friends.
"Then why'd you name it best friends?"
I'd call them non blood sisters

So this stage in my life I have 4 non blood sisters thats care about me and show me they do everyday.

There names are being kind of protected.

Then there's the friends I couldn't live with out.
I can make a list thats metres and metres long but I've decided not to I don't want to forget anyone.
People know who they are anyway

But todays about those 4 who make life easier
When I'm feeling down I can count on then for a steady hand
Bored? they are only a text away.
It's wonderful how 4 people can be so amazing.

One.
We met in school in yr 9 I'm sure.
We were sat next to each other in science.
And that's where it all started
Yelling at that shit head behind us.
Ahh what great fun.
Theres never a dull moment with her
Even though she's in love with a ranga.....
"Oh ew, i know that is a low light."

Two.
This kid is one of a kind.
Even though she's been through a whole lot
She still has the courage to put on a smile and carry on with the day
It doesn't matter when we met.
The main part is that we did.
She's one of the people that you'd help and feel good about doing so.
She's the type of person who genuinely cares.

Three.
Its been 13 years since I first saw this kid.
She was my first friend in Kindy and all the way through primary school.
I was taught by this chap how to spell this one word I'd always had trouble with.
It's was amazing the things she taught me.
Now it seems that i teach her more.
"You couldn't teach a cow....."

Four.
My aquaintance.
The other nerd.
This chap is a different one.
She has a bordanian accent
And she's a four eye's
She's the one I turn to for help on school work.
She's in majority of my classes and is a helping hand
I never knew someone like her exsited.

If I lived forever I would write a bit for all of my beloved.
But I don't live forever and I do need sleep.
And i do have test's and amazingly I'm still in school
"Yes you only need half a brain to be in school"
But I want to say all those who looked after me
Or just gave a shit.
I thank you from the deepest of my heart..

And I must say that I do love you..

Broken

Trying to fix what is broken is frustrating.
"Yes when your you.."
Ahem..and you've fixed it alright but,
It's just not the same?
Like when a vase falls off the table
"Cause you pushed it off"
I didn't do that ok!
and you glue it back.
Sometimes if it was only a small crack it goes unnoticed.
But some times it big, no huge.
And you can still see the small tiny crack with the glue in it..


It's the same with friendships
If they go through some hard ships and you have a small fight
it can be fixed with the right type and amount of 'glue'
"You can't fix friendships with glue. Whats wrong with you?"
i was using a metaphor... Gosh

But sometimes there is the time when the break is big.
"Oooo how big?"
Um big!
"Ahhhh"
You got into a big fight.
Or they betrayed your trust
And did something BAD
The break can be fixed but it's still not the same
Those crack are still visible.
It's not the same

But
"ANOTHER BUT?!?!?"
Yes so get over it!

But, then theres those huge breaks.
They are unsavable
"Is that even a word?"
You almost hated them for what they did.
Couldn't believe it would happen to you.
It only happens on TV you would think.

But nope.
It happens in real life too.
Your life.
"If you have one"
To be a good sport you become friend with them.
You feel as if something is missing in the world without them
But it's not the same.
Your friendship has be shattered.
And there are bits missing
They can't be found.

Sometimes the other person tries to fix it.
But a simple fake smile and a try hug won't cut it.
To yell at someone and be angry at them for something your not sure they did
Isn't right.
It can't be fixed with clag glue.
"Ooo that taste good"
Its too simple.

It maybe time to let go of all those visible cracks.
And let be what is.
The vase is broken and maybe thats what its mean to be?
Let go of those who don't really deserve to be your friend.
Or who have done something that you regret forgiving them for.

Think on it

It was amazing

Thats someone made life so much better!

Then that day came.
They took that amazing someone away too.
You couldn't believe it.
